PPSP Action Fund holds Valentine’s Day Fundraiser
This Valentine’s Day, PPSP Action Fund is sending a special message to anti-choice Republican Presidential candidate, Mitt Romney.
Romney has made it absolutely clear where he stands on women’s health in an interview with on The Scott Hennen Show in early February. In that interview, Mitt Romney states that Planned Parenthood should “stand on its own two feet” and that Planned Parenthood “should receive no government subsidies”.
In response to these attacks on women’s health, PPSP Action Fund sent an e-mail out giving supporters the opportunity to send Mitt Romney a Valentine in their name along with a special box of our own Planned Parenthood chocolate birth-control pill packs for every $1,000 raised. Over 70 supporters made donations in just a few days and a case of chocolate pill packs along with our special Valentine’s Day card is en route to the campaign office of Mitt Romney. Valentine’s may be over, but it’s not too late for you to make a donation to the PPSP Action Fund to support our hard-hitting electoral and lobbying work both locally and statewide.
